Wear comfortable clothes you can move in and don't mind getting dirty. Paintballs are non-toxic and non-staining, but you'll be running, diving, and rolling around.
Yes. Every player must sign a waiver before playing. Players under 18 also need a parent or guardian signature. Each child should have their own parent or guardian sign.
You can sign the waiver online ahead of time or complete it at the field.
Bring a smile and be ready for fun. We provide everything else: paintballs, gear, snacks, drinks, even pizza. We're a full-service paintball field with the most convenient location in Houston.
If you have a reservation, bring a valid photo ID to check in.
We have plenty of covered space with 20-foot picnic tables. Great for birthday cake, pizza, or just hanging out. The covered area is right next to the fields, so spectators can see all the action.
If you have a large party, don't want to wait, or want your gear ready on arrival, make a reservation. We don't take deposits. You can pay in full online or pay a small booking fee per player to hold your spot.
Without a reservation, equipment is first-come first-serve. With one, just check in and we'll get you started.
Pre-paid reservations: Full refund with 24 hours notice for groups under 20. Groups of 20+ need 72 hours notice.
Booking-fee reservations: The booking fee is non-refundable.
If someone can't make it last minute, don't worry. You'll get everything you paid for when you check in. We also have a rescheduling policy for important events.
Absolutely. Walk-ins are always welcome. Call ahead at 281.892.1148 to check if we have space for your group. Guests are served first-come first-serve.
For the best experience, book at least 12 hours before your event.
No. UWZ offers truly unlimited private play. Your group gets the field to yourselves. All day, no limits. Private play is included for every group of 6 or more.
You'll share the common area (check-in, picnic tables, restrooms) with other guests, but the playing fields are yours.
The minimum age is 10 years old. We accept 10-year-olds who are properly dressed and can follow the rules. This is the standard across all reputable fields in Houston, set by insurance companies and non-negotiable.
Kids won't be thrown in with adults. Unlimited private play means your party stays together. See our birthday party page for more details.
Absolutely. Balloons, signs, streamers, go for it. Bring cake, order pizza, whatever makes the party special. We want to provide an amazing paintball experience; everything else is your canvas.
One request: Please avoid cooking hot meals or anything that could burn unsuspecting kids.
Highly recommended. A reservation guarantees the best experience, shortest wait times, and lowest stress for organizing an important event. We do book out, especially on weekends.
Walk-ins are welcome, but be prepared to wait. Like showing up to a restaurant on a Saturday night without a reservation.
We have free downloadable paintball birthday invitations you can print and send to your guests. Once you've invited everyone, make a reservation so we're ready for your group.
